The New Balance 1906R in the “Lunar New Year” style features elements inspired by Eastern culture, including a jade green insole and midsole accents that salute Confucius, a philosopher who likened jade to virtues such as benevolence, fairness, authenticity, and symbols of the divine and nature. As for the rest of the shoe, the upper features a Sea Salt-colored mesh and leather construction.
